it seems that my dear friend, waxwing, was not too far off yesterday, when she was unable to celebrate my birthday by providing me with an image of Pi to 10,000 places (perhaps i should refer to it as 10,000 pieces of Pi). it seems that by instead providing me with a pie, she was indulging another annual treasure - national pie day (via boingboing.net)! how very convenient, for i should like to enjoy both pie and Pi from this year forward.
