while normally i despise such tomfoolery as games of tag, i do have a soft spot for the requests of friends.  and so, i humbly offer this list of ten random items about myself (you can thank whispertales):

1.) as a child, i decided that an interesting (and exciting) method for closing an automobile trunk would be to stand on the roof of the car and jump.  let it be known that i severely underestimated the resilience of a 1975 ford granada's trunk.

2.) i'm as close in age to my mother as to my youngest brother.

3.) remembering my birthday is as easy as 1-23

4) while i could hardly be considered a dead philosopher, i do have a degree in mathematics.

5) my business partner and i collectively own more than 15 guitars.

6) i am a descendant of the legendary outlaw jesse james.

7.) i often work with governmentally classified information.

8.) for two or three years, i lived without heat or air-conditioning (a feat here in texas).

9.) i currently have a mohawk.

10.) i have officially studied 4 languages, and yet can only speak one.
