huzzah, i am indeed a winner

this week i was informed via the post that the leibniz household has won a guaranteed prize; and, should i seek to claim said prize, i will receive an additional guaranteed gift.

what a novel concept, that i should receive a prize for receiving a prize which i did not request to receive! these modern times are so different from my younger days, when such exotic haberdashery would not have been feasible. i wonder whether my new hummer will hum well; or, should i receive the navigator, whether he will be familiar with the lay of the land in my particular area.

my only hope is that i have not won the vacation, as i am too old to travel to exotic locales. i should calculate the odds...

{slight pause}

blast! according to my current calculations, it seems quite certain that i will, indeed, "win" the vacation. i wonder why the odds for the vacation exceed those of the less valuable five-hundred dollars?!?

[update #1: all apologies, as i have apparently not inserted enough sarcasm to inform the reader that the leibnizter can spot a scam when he sees one]

[update #2: i am currently unable to post comments on mindsay... i can read them, however - just don't be upset if i don't respond]

[update #3: oh, get over yourself, leibniz. as if anyone would really get upset if you didn't respond]

[update #4: shut up, you dead nerd]
