A dimly lit club attached to the local baseball stadium. There is music playing, and crowd of 30-somethings are milling around a cash bar. Walter O'Connell surveys the crowd, eventually finding a familiar face. He hesitantly saunters towards Jonathan, a clean-cut young professional accompanied by a young, and slightly pregnant, woman.

WALTER

Jon?

JONATHAN

(holds out his hand)
Hey, how's it going? O'Connell, right?

WALTER

(Shaking Jon's hand)
Yeah... Walter. How have you been? Married, I see.

JONATHAN

(glances towards wife)

Ah... yeah, a couple of years now - we're expecting our first. Where are you living these days? We just got a new place out in Frisco.

WALTER

Oh, I'm in town. Monica and I found a great little loft. It's a bit shady if you try to wander around at night, but it has that "old world charm."

JONATHAN

You should really think about buying. Interest rates and all, you know?

WALTER

Yeah, there doesn't seem to be much in town that we could afford. It's nuts.

JONATHAN

Well, I'm telling you - Frisco is great. They've got everything you need; plenty of restaurants and shopping.

WALTER

(growing disinterested)
Cool. Have you seen any local bands lately? Any live shows?

JONATHAN

Nah, but I totally just got a copy of the new Coldplay.

WALTER

(dryly)
Uh, yeah...
